Module 7

This module will enable those of you who don’t have an existing approved therapy modality to upgrade your Kinesiology Association membership to “Professional Associate” and charge members of the public for Kinesiology treatments at a suitable rate.    

You won’t be able to call yourself a “Kinesiologist” but can offer techniques you have learned on the Foundation Course.   

Upon completion you should have suitable insurance and EFAW First Aid and once membership is upgraded you can be listed on the Practitioners Map as Assoc.KA

The aim is to ensure you are comfortable working on people you don’t know and using techniques OUTSIDE of the wheel balance.   We also will be looking at life as a Complementary Therapist from a business and marketing perspective.

Within the module we will cover:

• Initial Review of your experience so far with Q&A
• Review of using other muscles outside the wheel balance based on clients reported symptoms
• Alternative Options for clients with:
• Gut problems
• Clients with specific pain
• Skin lesions and pain
• Review of Core Techniques
• Ways into the body                        
• What to do when you’re stuck or when things don’t go to plan

• Keeping notes while doing the balance session
• Follow up emails
• Confidence
• Own Health
• Interacting with Clients /Communications skills              
• Running an appointment diary
• How much to charge / discounts
• Cancellation policy
• Marketing and Promotion
• Clarifying your Vision                            
• Business set-up options    
• Where to work
• Keep financial records of payments, expenses - create your tax return
• Storing client records in line with GDPR         
• Getting adequate professional insurance

Course fees for Foundation course Module 7 training are ₤195 for 2 days (usually held over / partially over, a weekend)
