Learn Kinesiology with me!
I am one of the Kinesiology Association's qualified and accredited UK Tutors and will be teaching my next Kinesiology Foundation Course in Bristol in October 2024.
This course delivers high quality vocational kinesiology training incorporating best practice and current developing National Occupational Standards (KNOS) in Kinesiology.
Courses at our Kinesiology school are fully accredited, interactive and fun. Class sizes are small and kept to a maximum of 8 students.
How is the Foundation Course taught?
The Foundation Course is taught over 6 weekends (or equivalent), usually spaced about a month apart.
The course consists of 90 hours (12 days) of face-to-face training, including practical demonstrations and workshopping. The modules are structured in a way to make learning fun, enjoyable and informative with a good proportion of the work spent practicing the techniques and muscle testing in pairs.
In addition, you will be expected to undertake home study of approximately 1-2 hours per week. You will also need to carry out 25* case studies.
*Please note, the 25 case studies don't have to be on 25 different people, which I know can sound daunting!; for example, you could work on the same 5 people, 5 times over the duration of the course.
The course concludes with a final practical assessment and written paper including some multiple choice questions.
Certification: Provided all the homework is completed and the assessments meet the pass mark, students will be issued with a certificate.
What is the investment?
The total investment is £1,395.
There are 2 payment options:
1. Early bird option: £1,295, saving £100 if paid in full at least 6 weeks before the course starts (non-refundable).
2. Standard price: £1,395 (non-refundable) payable in advance no later than 4 weeks before the course starts.
You can opt to pay this in two instalments of a £395 non-refundable deposit plus £500 on enrolment followed by the balance of £500 no later than 2 weeks before the course start date.
Placeholder deposit: As places are limited, if you know you want to go ahead and enrol in advance of the payment deadlines, it is advisable to complete your booking form and pay a nominal £25 fee to secure your place. This is deducted from the total course amount.
Get in touch to discuss alternative payment arrangements.
Terms of Payment
The cost of the course is set by the Kinesiology Association (KA) and is the same for all KA courses that are run in the UK.
Deposits, which are payable to enrol, are non-refundable in the event of you changing your mind. If the course is cancelled by the tutor due to an external influence beyond control, the deposit will be refunded.
Please note: Payments made either in full or in instalments are a commitment to complete the course. This is a requirement because the decision to proceed with the course is dependent on the number of students. This means that course fees are not refundable or transferable in the event of you changing your mind to continue with the training, including if the payment is made in full (early bird or standard fee).

More information is available on the KA website on the Members page, under Training, and of course, you can get in touch with me too!
Please note, Module 7 is charged separately to the Foundation course.
Here's what one of my past students said after attending Module 7:
"Oh my gosh … I loved this module! I really think it’s a worthwhile offering from the KA for those who want to move forward after foundation. For me it was such a safe space to get clarity, ask questions and work on feeling confident. I’ve immersed myself in kinesiology over the last year, but mostly within my comfort zone, so my motivation to get out there has definitely increased after the two days. Yet again, I’ve been prompted to self reflect and grow personally. Thank you for being such a fantastic tutor and guiding light for me on my kinesiology journey."
