I've got lived experience of working in senior corporate HR roles where hustle culture was the norm.
For the past 5 years, I've been fully self-employed and know that being a solopreneur brings with it a whole new set of challenges!
As a Mum of two teens, I have lived experience of the constant guilt that goes with balancing motherhood, and staying on top of my game at work.
I know how it feels to work flat out to meet conflicting demands.
I know how it feels to keep all the plates spinning...or to try at least!
I know how it feels to be close to burnout.
I know it can feel like you're doing a bad job of all of everything.
I know it can feel like you're never doing enough!
I know it can feel like you never have time for yourself.
I also know what it feels like to hit a roadblock.
In 2011, I was diagnosed with an autoimmune condition. It hit me hard. Deep down I knew I'd been pushing myself too much and wondered if this was my body's way of saying, JUST STOP ALREADY!!
As a high performer and high achiever I was always asked to do more and I always put everyone else's needs ahead of my own! I was available 24/7, went above and beyond - hello now almost fully recovered people pleaser! - all whilst adjusting to life with two small children.
I was doing what many of us do without realising; trying to fit into a world of work that was built for men and how they function in life. For starters, their hormonal cycle is 24 hours long, ours is 28 days long, and we all know how much our energy levels fluctuate during those 28 days!
Now with a business to run, I know what it's like to keep on top of ALL THE THINGS needing to be done to keep my business successful, whilst experiencing the changes to my mind and body that are linked to perimenopause.
Except, this time round, I'm ready! I'm prioritising Being more than Doing. I'm pausing on purpose.
I'm managing my perimenopause symptoms naturally and holistically, thanks to that diagnosis in 2011.
My life had to take on a whole new rhythm - with more rest, more connection to myself, more listening to my intuition - which eventually led to a redirection; studying and becoming a qualified natural health practitioner in 2018.
I'd been so in awe of how kinesiology allowed me to 'talk' to my body and heal autoimmunity at the root cause, that I knew I had to learn how to do it so that I could help other women in similar situations to me.

Here you become aware of your stressors and what your default response has been up to now.
We explore adrenal health and the importance of stress reduction during the perimenopausal years.

In this module, I'll share my proven formula for keeping your energy levels on track.
We talk hormones, sleep, nutrition, exercise, and staying grounded; all the pieces of the puzzle that together result in balanced health and wellbeing. You'll come away with an understanding of how to keep your energy levels consistent.
We go into the importance of leaning into your feminine energy, learning how to put yourself first, and what needs to become non-negotiable for sustained vitality, confidence and clarity of thought.
We'll explore more on lifestyle, nutrition, rest and how to create optimal energy levels.
